A static Astro site with a tiny self-hosted comment server in Go, kept free of spam by ALTCHA proof-of-work instead of a third-party captcha.

The site is plain static HTML, generated by Astro from Markdown files.
The only dynamic part is a single Go daemon. It serves comments and the guestbook from SQLite and runs behind nginx. To keep spam out it uses:
- ALTCHA: a proof-of-work captcha. The visitor’s browser does a few hundred milliseconds of hashing. There are no puzzles, no tracking and no third-party service, so it works the same for readers in China.
- Every solved challenge works only once, and it expires after 30 minutes.
- A honeypot field, per-IP rate limits and an origin check.
- A moderation queue for comments with several links, plus a small admin page.
To be easy for search engines and AI assistants to read, the site has llms.txt and llms-full.txt, a raw Markdown copy of every post, JSON-LD structured data, RSS and JSON feeds, and a sitemap.
