About
Hi, I’m Wuming(無名).
I’m a software engineer from China with more than fifteen years in IT. I studied at KMUST and LZU, then came to the United States as an international student and earned a master’s degree at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, a town whose quiet beauty shows up in many of the early posts here.
I like programming, the internet, movies and music, and building small things with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other electronics. Over the years I’ve worked with Java, PHP, Python, C#, JavaScript, C++, databases and blockchain systems, and I’m especially drawn to IoT and smart-home work.
吾与二三子,平生结交深。俱怀鸿鹄志,昔有鶺鴒心。 逸气假毫翰,清风在竹林。达是酒中趣,琴上偶然音。
Wuming (無名) means “nameless”.
History of this site
- 2001: The first site, Jiangnan Xiaozhu (江南小筑), on free hosting. Later it moved to weihua.net on shared hosting, with small tools I wrote and a little forum.
- 2010: After the .cn domains were suspended, I moved abroad and started blog.wo.ai. Wo ai (我爱) is Chinese for “I love”.
- 2017: The site was hacked once and lost its server once. Each time it came back from backups.
- 2025: The server died for good and the data was lost.
- 2026: All 316 posts and their images were recovered from the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. They now live here at wuming.si, with their original dates. Most of them are in Chinese.
